CRES Talent Show Auditions!

Sign up to audition for the annual CRES Talent Show!  

Dust off those dancing shoes, tune those instruments, make those costumes, and get your "act" together for the 2024 CRES Talent Show!   The show will take place over two nights: Friday, May 17, 2024 for grades K-3, and Saturday, May 18, 2024 for grades 4-6. Performances should be no longer than 1 minute 15 seconds, and we will once again be auditioning for both talent acts and MCs. Last year we had singing, dancing, music, magic and more, so the PTO is looking forward to seeing what the kids bring this year, and what surprise acts may show! 

Auditions will occur on April 11 and 12, but you must sign up for an audition slot! 

Please select your audition time using the Signup Genius link, which will remain active until 9:00PM on Wednesday (April 10).  

A few things to know for this year’s shows:

• Group acts – we love to see kids collaborate and come up with great routines! 

• Solo acts – we are permitting solo acts this year! If your child chooses one of the solo act spots, they cannot also do a group act.  

• Multiple acts – we will allow kids to do up to 2 group acts on an exception basis so that we get as many different kids to participate together. Our goal is to showcase as many students as possible, and we want to ensure all who want to shine are given the chance.  

• MC’s – we will be auditioning 6th graders to fill multiple MC spots! 

Each act needs one Talent Show Registration form (one per act), and all participants will need a signed Parental Consent form. Both forms MUST be brought to the Audition to participate. Links are provided below.

Thursday, April 11th 4:15-6:45pm in the CRES Theater

MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL DATES:

Thursday, May 16 from 4:30-6:00pm (Grades K-3) and 6:00-8:00pm (Grades 4-6) on the Cafeteria Stage

TALENT SHOW DATES:

Friday, May 17 at 6:30 (Grades K-3) on the Cafeteria Stage
