Save the Date - End of Year Book Fair

Stock up on fun books to read this summer! Our PTO Book Fair is scheduled for June 4-8. More details coming soon.

Volunteer at CRES

We'll have lots of fun ways to get involved at CRES this year - watch this space for more information as volunteer opportunities become available.

Family Fitness Day Volunteers - We still need lots of volunteers to help set up, pass out water and snacks, guide hikers and act as race marshalls. (Great opportunity to get those 8th grade service hours!) If you'd like to help, sign up here.

Food Rescue Volunteers - Just a 12-minute drive from CRES, the Cornerstones Emergency Self-Sufficiency Services program helps fight hunger right here in Northern Virginia. Each day at lunch, CRES students collect leftover, unopened food and beverages from lunch to donate.

We need parent volunteers to deliver the rescued food every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of the school year. Unfortunately, a small number of volunteers has been shouldering much of the delivery duties so far this year. Please sign up to help with an occasional delivery if you can fit it into your schedule. For more information please contact Tonia Powell, the CRES Food Rescue coordinator, at tonia@bradandtonia.com or 703.201.1922.
