Matilda Movie Night - January 16, 2026

 🎬 Indoor Movie Night – This Friday! 🍕

Join us for Indoor Movie Night this Friday evening, beginning at 6:30 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM). We’ll be screening Matilda, a fun preview as we build excitement for the school’s upcoming spring musical!

🎟️ Tickets, Pizza, and Concessions:

• Purchase tickets ($10) and pre-order a whole pizza using the link HERE.
• Pre-sale orders close at 10:00 PM on Thursday, 1/15.
• Tickets will also be available at the door for $11 per person, which will still include one drink and one candy bar.
• At the event, cash and Venmo only will be accepted for tickets, pizza sold by the slice and limited concessions (such as drinks and candy).

Please join us for our Q3 PTO Community Meeting this Wednesday February 11 at 9:05 AM.

We’re excited to welcome Emily Sorbi as our guest speaker. Emily is a current CRES parent (mom to a 2nd grader & rising Kindergartner) and a school counselor at Flint Hill School. In her role, she has implemented independence-building initiatives and projects inspired by the Let Grow organization, promoting independent play as a way to support resilience and reduce childhood anxiety. (This play model also helped inspire CRES PTO to launch the Independent Play Club as part of BASA.)

This will be an informal discussion about the program, why she chose to implement it, her professional perspective on why independence is so important for kids, and how we might continue incorporating these ideas into our own school community.

Parent's Night Out - 11/15 (registration closes 11/13)!

CRES Parents’ Night Out – Sports Edition!  

What: The CRES PTO is teaming up with Overtime Athletics to host a fun, sports-themed evening for the kids — so you can enjoy a night out! Activities will include both high- and low-intensity options to suit every energy level.

Who: Open to all K-6 CRES students and their K-6 non-CRES siblings with a current PTO family membership.

When: Saturday, November 15 | 6–9 PM

Where: CRES Gym (at school!)

Why: Do we even need to explain this one?

Register HERE!  Registration closes Nov. 13.   
Capacity is limited to 60 students, with a waitlist available once full.
 

Cost: $45 for the first child, $35 for each sibling
Includes 2 slices of pizza, snack, and drink!

Don’t forget: You must be a PTO member to register (if you are not a member yet, you can join HERE). If you don’t see the form, you may need to update your membership first.

Future Parents’ Nights Out are coming this winter and spring, so stay tuned!

• Friday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

This is one of the school’s biggest fundraisers, and volunteers make it possible!
