Welcome New Families!

 

Colvin Run is a special place. Mr. Junge and his team are incredible, and it’s a joy to support them as the PTO. you're joining a vibrant community!

 

The PTO supports our school with enrichment programs, community events, and fundraising. The CRES PTO has a solid history of programming in place:

 

🎨 Enrichment Programs - Before & After School Programs, Academic Teams, ArtPlus

 

🎉 Community & Fundraising Events - 4th of July Parade, Movie Night, Culturama, Bingo Night, STEAM Night, Spring Book Fair, Talent Show

 

🍎 Teacher & Staff Support - Room Parents for each class and appreciation for teachers, faculty, staff & bus drivers

 

We try to make it easy! $25 to join the PTO, and an addition suggested donation per student through the Dragon Drive.

 

And yes—we always need volunteers! We understand this year may bring uncertainty with work and schedules, so know that any level of help is appreciated:

  • Working full-time? Help from your computer or during your commute
  • At home? Volunteer in the classroom or at events
  • Busy schedule? Pitch in for specific events, or help us with creative ideas

 Two areas I’m especially excited to grow next year:

  • More parent-focused events (new family gatherings, coffees, happy hours)
  • Promoting healthy digital habits and delaying smartphones/social media

CRES Playground Playdates:

  • July 22, 2025

  • August 12, 2025

Mr. Junge will conduct a school tour at 3pm, and the playground playdate starts at 4pm.

New Family Happy Hour (Adults Only):

 

Friday, August 22, 2025; 5-7pm

Come meet other new family parents and guardians over some drinks and small bites.
